Terms of use
The short version: this is a free, independent guide. Use it to prepare, and check with the office before you travel or pay.
Last updated 1 November 2026.
Who we are
- Hello, Zimbabwe is an independent, non-commercial guide to Zimbabwean government services. It is not a government website and is not part of any government office.
- We don't process applications, take payments or act for anyone. Only the offices themselves can do that.
- Using the site is free. We never ask you to pay us, and nobody may charge you for anything on it.
Using the guides
- The guides explain each service using official sources, and each shows when it was last checked.
- Rules, fees, opening hours and phone numbers change. Check with the office before you travel, apply or pay.
- The guides are general information, not legal or professional advice.
The chat
- The chat answers from our guides, with an AI model. Answers can be wrong or out of date, so check with the office before you act on them.
- Don't share ID numbers, passport numbers or other personal details in the chat. You never need them here.
Ratings and reviews
The Customer Care Index shows how visitors found a service or office. It is not an official measure.
- Rate only a service or office you have used yourself, and write about your own experience, honestly and in your own words.
- Don't name staff or share anyone's personal details (ID numbers, phone numbers, email addresses). We take out what we can find before a review is saved.
- Abusive, threatening or hateful words, false or paid reviews, advertising and links are not allowed.
- Anyone can report a review. A review reported by a few people is hidden until we look at it. We may remove ratings and reviews that break these rules or look fake.
- Each connection can rate a place once a day. By posting a review, you let us show it on the site, with the stars, your answers, the date and any name you chose to add.
For offices
- Each office in the Customer Care Index programme signs in to its dashboard with its own access code. Keep it private and don't share it outside the office. If it is lost or shared, tell us and we will turn it off and give you a new one.
- An office's reply to a review is public: it shows under the review on the office's page. Be courteous, and don't include anyone's personal details. We may remove replies that break these rules.
- Every office is scored the same way. Nobody can pay to change a score, a ranking or a review.
- Put the QR posters and counter cards up only inside your own office.
Copyright
- © 2026 Hello, Zimbabwe. All rights reserved. This covers the guides, the site's design and the Hello logo.
- You are welcome to share links to any page, and to quote a short part of a guide with a link back to it.
- Photos belong to their photographers and are used under their licences (see Photo credits). Names of government offices belong to them; we don't use their logos.
- Please don't use our name or logo in a way that suggests we support or work with you.
Links to other websites
- We link to official websites so you can check things and apply. Each website is responsible for its own content and rules.
- We never link to agents, resellers or payment apps. Check the web address before you pay anyone.
Limits
- We work hard to keep the site correct and available, but we can't promise that it is always complete, up to date or working.
- As far as the law allows, we are not responsible for any loss that comes from using the site or relying on it.
