Check the official ZiG exchange rate
The Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe (RBZ) publishes official exchange rates for the ZiG (Zimbabwe Gold) every working day.

Steps
- Open the Reserve Bank's website. The day's interbank rates against the US dollar are on the home page.
- For earlier rates, use the monthly exchange rates archive.
Good to know
- The ZiG (currency code ZWG) was introduced on 5 April 2024. The RBZ has confirmed that it is legal tender.
- Rates change every working day, so check on the day you need them.
- The RBZ also lists registered microfinance institutions, so you can check that a lender is genuine.
- Type the address with www. Without it, you may see a security warning.
