What you'll usually need
Tick things off as you gather them. Your ticks are saved on this phone only.
Steps
- Look for vacancies on the PSC's e-recruitment site. Some posts are open only to current government employees.
- Register and build your profile. Add your CV and certificates.
- Apply for the post, then track your application on the same site.
- For nursing, medical and other public health jobs, register as a health worker on the Health Service Commission's e-HEALTH portal. Upload your certificates as one PDF, and track your application there. HSC also posts some vacancies on its recruitment site. But the application forms there are for people already working for HSC, the Ministry of Health or other government bodies.
Good to know
- The Health Service Board is now called the Health Service Commission.
- Some public bodies recruit separately. For those, check the body's own official website.
Watch out
Government jobs are never for sale. The PSC says all its services are free. If anyone charges you for a job or a transfer, report it to the PSC on Call +263 242 796 091. The Ministry of Health says it does not recruit through WhatsApp.
