Steps

  1. Write down what happened, including any amounts asked for, and keep any evidence.
  2. Report it on ZACC's online form at zacc.co.zw/report. Reports are anonymous unless you choose to give your details. You can attach files too.
  3. Keep the reference the form gives you, so you can follow up your report.
  4. To report in person, go to a ZACC office. In Harare there is a reporting office at 172 Herbert Chitepo Avenue. There are also offices in Bulawayo, Gweru, Masvingo, Mutare, Chinhoyi and Bindura, and their addresses are on ZACC's contact page. The head office is at 872 Betterment Close, Mt Pleasant Business Park, Harare.

Good to know

  • ZACC's free numbers are Call 08010101 from a NetOne line and Call 08004367 from a TelOne line. You can also try its WhatsApp line, WhatsApp +263 719 529 483. If it doesn't work, use the online form.
  • On ZACC's report page, ignore the hotline +263 24 200 0000 and the email report@zacc.org.zw under "Alternative ways to report". That email address doesn't exist. Use the online form, ZACC's free numbers or a ZACC office instead.

Watch out

People pretending to be ZACC officers have demanded "fines". ZACC's services are free, so report anyone who asks you for money in its name. ZACC no longer controls its old X (Twitter) account, @ZACCOnline, or an old web address. Use only zacc.co.zw.
