Some visitors need no visa, some get one on arrival, and others must apply before travelling. If you need to apply, use the official e-visa site at least three weeks ahead.

Steps

  1. Check your country's category on the Immigration website. If your country is in category A, you need no visa. In category B, you get a visa on arrival. In category C, you need a visa before you travel.
  2. If you need a visa, apply on evisa.gov.zw at least three weeks before you travel. Applications take about seven working days on average, and you can't get the fee back.
  3. As a non-resident visitor, you also fill in an online arrival declaration before you travel. Use "Fill the declaration" on the e-visa site.
  4. Keep copies of your visa approval and declaration with you when you travel.

Watch out

Apply only on evisa.gov.zw. The Department of Immigration has said look-alike visa websites have nothing to do with it.
